Waterproof, dent-resistant vinyl plank and laminate flooring, installed to NALFA specifications for a tight, quiet, floating floor.
Modern LVP and laminate are floating floors: planks click together over an underlayment pad rather than being glued or nailed down, letting the floor move slightly with temperature changes.
Top-tier SPC/WPC vinyl plank handles kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, even basements without warping — something hardwood and traditional laminate can't do.
Rigid SPC cores stand up to dog nails, dropped pans, and moved furniture better than most other flooring.
Convincing wood or stone visuals without the price tag of the real material.
Floating click-lock systems often install over your existing floor — less demo, less downtime in your home.
No waxing, no refinishing, no grout to scrub — sweep and mop, and it stays looking new.
Laminate is a photographic wood or stone image fused under a clear wear layer, over a dense fiberboard core. Luxury vinyl plank swaps that core for a waterproof composite instead — SPC (stone plastic composite) is completely rigid and the toughest option against dents and water, while WPC (wood plastic composite) trades a bit of that rigidity for a softer feel underfoot.
Nearly all modern laminate and LVP are floating floors — planks click together edge-to-edge over an underlayment, with no nails or glue holding them to the subfloor. That's what lets the floor move slightly with temperature changes instead of buckling. We check wear-layer thickness before recommending a product (12–20 mil is our target for a busy household) and install to NALFA specifications for subfloor prep and expansion gaps.
